Netzfiltermodule sind modularisierte passive Komponentenbaugruppen, die dazu dienen, den Stromfluss durch Stromversorgungsleiter bei Frequenzen zu unterdrücken, die außerhalb der für die vorgesehene Versorgung vorgesehenen Nennfrequenzen liegen. Sie werden häufig in Verbindung mit Wechselstrom-Stromquellen verwendet und dienen sowohl der Abschwächung von Störungen durch externe Quellen als auch der Unterdrückung potenzieller Störungen, die durch ein angeschlossenes Gerät verursacht werden könnten.
